Maybe most interesting is sulforaphane, a chemical that exhibits anticancer, antidiabetic, and antimicrobial properties. Sulforaphane increases your body's production of enzymes that disarm cell-damaging free radicals. According to Stanford University scientists sulforaphane boosts the levels of these cancer-fighting enzymes higher than any other plant chemical.
